If it ends up having problems we can put it down if it is in pain. That is what my nana did with her yorkie when it was old.

White (albino) Dobes are not rare as some of their money making breeders suck you into believing. They are a genitic defect with all kinds of bigger problems that alot of Dobes already have. Skin problems, sunlight issues, temperment problems, allergies, you mame it. If you want a white dog with blue eyes, get one that represents its breed. I am a long time Dobe person and I wouldn't give a wooden nicklel for one unless I rescued it. I'm not sure if I can say this here, but there is a breeder (puppy miller) in MI REALLY close to my home that lost her ACK priviledges for 10 years because of several cases of animal abuse and neglect. I probably can't mention the Kennel Name here. Contact your local rescue and see how many albinos there are. Don't buy one, but rescue it if you are approved. Glad your daddy is an actor, and my daddy is the Pilsbury Dough Boy. And I'm older that dirt.

The White Doberman or Albinistic Doberman has a genetic fault that masks the pigment of our four normal colors. It is a recessive gene which, when expressed, greatly reduces the number of pigment granules (melanocytes) in hair, skin and eyes, This gives the appearance of a light cream based coat with dead white markings.

Do you really want a dog the is a genetic fault?!

This would be a very good point in which to inform you of the truth of the "rare" white Doberman that many on the Internet and in magazines are promoting as something desirable. A white Doberman is NOT an accepted color by the AKC -- in fact, it is not a color at all -- it is the ABSENCE of any color. More importantly, a white Doberman is basically an albino. This is NOT a good thing. Albinos are sensitive to sunlight, prone to skin cancer and skin lesions and are highly inbred individuals.

They are not 'white' - they are albinos and are only bred by ignorant gimmick mongers. People that take poor quality animals and breed them together to create a gimmick since the dogs wouldn't ordinarily sell otherwise. There are always ignorant people out there with no self esteem that want to get things they percieve as 'rare' to try to make themselves feel like they are something when they are not and never will be. No, they are not rare at all. Just like the millions of other ignorantly mass produced poor quality animals in this country, they are cranked out with regularity. What is rare is an educated dog buyer that will go to a knowledgeable breeder and get a good quality dog. But then that isn't what you want, is it? You want something that will make you able to say you have something 'rare' because you are so commonly lacking in self worth.

That's what Nana did when her yorkie got old.

How are you going to feel when you have to put down a 2 or 3 year old dog - not an OLD dog - a young dog because it has so many health problems from poor breeding?

Why don't you use daddy's money to become more knowledgeable about dogs and their health instead of getting a dog because you think it's neat.

it won't be so neat to put down a 2 year old dog. And no amount of Daddy's money will be able to save an ill-bred dog.

You appear to be a very spoiled child who really craves attention of owning a dog that no one has and the attention of your daddy. Ask your daddy to spend his money on a therapist..I think you could use one.

Do some research on your own and find out what a white doberman is and the probelms associated with them. You will find that owning one is not all it's cracked up to be.

you sound like a total snob in this question. And you will not get any attention if you have a white dobie. the AKC looks down upon them. You will rarely find them because most dobie breeders have a brain and would never breed albinos.

Why would you want one?? They aren't rare.. They are so inbred on ONE Doberman from the 70's that they have horrible skin and coat problems.. They cannot see in the sun, they are prone to sun cancers, and they have such horrible structure, so straight in the front and rear that they fall apart very young. Many of them get put down due to aggression..

Why not have daddy's agent look it up for you? I don't believe that your dad is an actor -- thanks, though.

Albino Dobe's are ill-bred dogs, by the way.

You are horrible for SUPPORTING to a cruel dog breeder and saying, "Oh, well! I'll just put it down."

You're a sick person. Go away.
