Me and my girlfriend are doing very well, as we have for almost a year now. I was wondering if its healthy or unhealthy to give too many compliments. I'd preferr girl's answers but any help counts :)

YES. Bluntly its like constantly saying 'I love you' its loses all meaning. Using them every so often shows that you really mean them and won't make you gf think that your only saying them to make her feel better. Not only that but if you keep saying them the chances are she'll start thinking that your cheating on her. Wierd I know but thats how girl's minds work lol. Use compliments every so often but change the compliment you use like don't always compliment her eyes or something. More often than not SHOWING your girlfriend how you feel is better than telling her something. Let her have a spa day with friends or something or take her somewhere where she can feel really good about herself so that rather than telling her a compliment your showing her a compliment.

I just love compliments when it's coming from guys that I have a crush on or boyfriend. So, your her boyfriend, there is no such thing as too many compliments.

yeah i'm a girl and i know that giving complients is always good but there is always a time when giving too much can scare her off .it might be ackward so keep giving them but not 24/7. rememeber girls love compliments but it gets old and cheesie keep it up {of course} but not to much.....good luck!!!!!!!!!!=]

well for me i like compliments but if its too many they will start sound like lies to me or they will make me think u did something bad

I think with too many it is hard to be sincere and would get to sound fakey and like you are trying too hard. you know?
