Hey Wooley!!
Ken is taking some time off while Bill Elliott gets the Little Debbie/Air Force/Wood Brothers/JTG #21 Ford back in the top 35 in NNC points.
I don't know if he is going to be there or not, but the awards cook-out for his track in Macon, IL is tonight. I'll get the full report in a little while.

Ken Schrader had a full time truck ride for Bobby Hamilton Racing #18 this year. He was always racing back in 21st spot or so. Then Kenny took a weekend off to race the Wood Bros. #21 Cup ride, and they put Dennis Setzer (another truck veteran) in the 18 truck, and he took it to a top 5 finish. And Dennis has been in the truck since then, always getting it in the top 10.
It kind of says something when one driver is always fighting for 24th position, and then a different driver steps into the same truck and puts it in the top 10 every week. I like Kenny, but...

Ken is getting old and frankly has lost his edge. Schrader is racing, and doing well in lesser leagues. Next year will probably be his last year at the Sprint Cup level.

He's OK. He really isn't a full time driver for anybody. Watch "Speed" on Monday night "Inside NASCAR". He's on that show.

No, his car is out of the top 35, so Bill Elliott has been driving to insure that the car gets in (thanks to past champions provisionals)
