Yes I know for a fact at least some have. Unfortunately there were no results from this. I really paid attention to see if there was anything out of the ordinary that could be attributed to god. If there was it was so subtle that I missed it.
They manage to try to cover up all the B.S. of prayer with the yes, no ,wait nonsense.

I am not sure what R&S stands for, but I have prayed for Atheists. I have prayed for the government and its leaders, for judges and others who have been atheists. I have prayed for friends who are atheists. Famous atheists I have prayed for include Larry Flynt, Christopher Hitchens and others.
I will keep you in my prayers as well, though I do not know if you are an atheist or not.
The power of prayer is not measured by results, but by experience. What is meant is that prayer is for the individual more than for anyone else. I do not mean this in a selfish way, but the benefit of praying is most richly rewarding to the person who is praying. With that said, the power of prayer can be very real in a persons life and can benefit others lives as well. However, the element that you so intentionally miss in your question is free will. God is no respecter of persons and as such will not act on my request at the expense of someone else's free will. Therefore if you pray all day long to have someone change their choices, opinions, direction in life, etc, you cannot expect that person to change without them sharing that desire for change.
My mother is a perfect example of this. When I was going through a trying time in my life, my mother prayed deeply for me. I continued to live my life in a negative way, but her prayers were working in my life. I saw many things change. I started to change my view and my mind was changed. It was not done in the time frame she would have liked, but it was done when I was ready for that change.
This is the way when praying for someone else. We hope for change, but it may never come or come to late or it may have an immediate effect. It is all dependent on the person and their desire for change.

Hm. No. Not to say I never would, but I haven't been on here that long.
It doesn't say anything about the power of prayer...by that I assume you mean if they don't convert, prayer is useless. However, just because one prays, does not mean God says "Sure, whatever you want!" like a vending machine and it happens that instant...

It tells me unless one believes they will be as they remain.........
If one refuses to believe God doesnt Force know one to believe Him.....and yes i pray that not only for athiests to see that thier is a God who is rich in mercy but for all the so-called christian who say they are..yet live anyway they want...and i pray for all those who think going to church makes you a christian..........I pray for me that i may have a lot more compassion to pray for all of the ones above.....and Thank God as He showed me His truths that He will show you all the same......and that you will just not brush them aside as i once did....but accept them for what they are and thats the Truth !!!
And i also believe in the power of prayer....cause if nothing else....its by that you posted that question that i may witness to you this answer..........." For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son..That whomsoever shall believe in Him should not perish , but have everlasting life "
And see Prayer does work !!!!!!!!!

I do and I have prayed for the lost. I plant the seed and it is up to them if they respond.
I don't know if any responded from my prayer. I answered one that use to be an Atheist and he was asking if someone would be vigilant and spread the Word of God with him. I respond and said yes. I don't remember his name but he responded back to me with a thank you.
Yesterday in R&S I led a person to Christ. I don't know if he/she was an Atheist in his/her past.

I pray for all lost souls and some particularly nasty fundamentalists.
Prayer does not "erase" a persons free will they can still say no to God. Plus it is not in our time that things are done. Only God can know the true heart and soul of any individual.
I do not pray to make people do things I want them to. I pray for their soul and that they will, at some point in their lives, know God.

I pray for everyone to come to know God. No one in particular. God knows who needs what. I ask him to look upon those in need and grant them peace of mind or whatever else they may be needing. I dont know what everyone on earth needs. (Kinda general, but it works) I ask him to look upon the less fortunate even tho I dont know who or where in the worlds they are. ETC., ETC---Get the idea?? AND to provide them with what is is they may need this day. Whether it be food, shelter, healing, etc.

Yes. I do not know. And sometimes it takes time. We might not live long enough to see the answers to our prayers.
