In my dreams I would love to see my wife with one or two guys, but when I look at guys in real life its not the same. How do swingers do what they do? I would love to try.
Thanks

I was not asking to be judged, only how people in the lifestyle managed. Thanks to everyone who took the time to answer though. XX

Jealousy is insecurity. It is the fear that someone else will be preferred over yourself, for whatever reason. So, it all comes down to whether or not you are secure in yourself, secure in your spouse and your value to them, and thus in your relationship. What separates those that can do it from those that can't is insecurity, or the lack thereof.

That doesn't alway mean even the most secure of people don't from time to time feel some insecurity/jealousy. It's a normal human emotion. It's how you deal with it both as an individual and as a couple that matters.

Some people are simply more secure in themselves and thus they can live-out their fantasies, for other their fantasies are better left just that.

First, dont you think your wife might like to be asked before you invite other men? Start thinking about her.
Second, fantasies are great, reality isnt. Take the typical mens fantasy of having 2 girls, in my experience it didnt live up to expectations.
Keep your fantasies just that. You would really regret it, not to mention your wife not being happy about it. Swingers have a much more mature attitude then you seem to and thats why it works for them.

My advice is don't !! Its not something I have ever wanted to get involved in but understand its a big fantasy for some couples. Sadly, people I've known who have got down that route all started out being 'cool' wih it. Not one couple survived and all ended up splitting up either through jealousy or because one partner wanted to stop ad the other wouldn't. Keep it as a fantasy - its better that way xxx

You would be so messed up if you tried this. I know you think you could handle it, but when the horniness wears off, the relationship with your wife is forever changed for the worse. I think only people with no morals or concience can live that lifestyle. Does your wife talk about trying it? I hope not.

Why? What did you get married for if you want more than one partner? That is insane! You have no respect to even suggest that. One union you and your wife. If That's your idea of keeping the flame going you have a very shallow mind.

A guy I work with announced about 6 months ago that he and his wife have an "open relationship".. 6 months later, he's divorced. I wouldn't go there..

I think it takes a certain mind-set to be able to do that. I know I wouldn't want any part of it.
