There was an incident, and may actually be several incidents, wherein some Blackwater Operatives open-fired on allegedly un-armed Iraqi civilians. I believe it to be crap. I've met some of these guys. It is VERY hard to get in. They don't take just ANY prior military/police. You have to have an extensive career in special forces, usually at least 6 years. Additionally, they put more rounds down range in live fire trainin/exercises per year than the average American puts words on paper or screen. Objectively speaking, if I were asked to call either side a liar, I would call the Iraqis a liar any day of the weak and twice on sunday. Once you get time behind a trigger, even if just in training, you will understand what I mean. These guys a smooth operators, they are professionals. Not like the insurgents or 15 year old civilians toting AKs.

Blackwater mercenaries fired at civillians multiple times, causing death. The Iraqi government wants them out, but the country that is supposed to be supporting the Iraqi's sovereignty, isn't allowing it. Blackwater also held up our own soldiers at gunpoint.
