Alright, first of all pugs do shed. Quite a lot. I have a pug who's like 5 years old. Pugs shed more in the summer and winter and when you don't BRUSH them. If you brush your pug a couple times a week (like a minute a day... no big deal) then your fine. Lots of hair will come off and for the rest of the week it won't be bad at all. I don't think that shedding should prevent you from getting a pug because they are the absolute best dogs. As for the other thing, NOT ALL DOGS SHED. Whoever said that is wrong. I also have a Cockapoo (a cocker spaniel and a poodle... they're so cute). Any kind of dog mixed with a poodle does not shed because they have hair. I highly recommend a cockapoo as well.. THEY DON'T SHED!

Yes! pugs do shed enough that if you don't like dog hair, don't get a pug. Even with good grooming habits a pug still sheds.

OMG! Do they ever! Maybe it's just the dogs I come across in the dog grooming salon but I find that the fawn pugs shed a lot more than the black pugs

yess. lol. it sucks. i have two. thats all they do is shed.. but very loving dogs. the only dog that ive had that never shed was a lhasa apso. =]=]
