My neighbor's dog barks all day. I saw an ad for a device that sends out a annoying (to dogs) sonic sound to the dog whenever it barks. Has anyone used this device successfully. Thanks.

Call Jeffers pet supply at 1-800-Jeffers and talk to them as they sell them. They also have a print catalog as well as online. They work but you have to have the right range.

My mom has one that they make for inside your home advertised as "quiet your neighbors dog without the owner knowing all in the privacy of your home" and it works great but cost around $200.00 but worth every red cent.

I wouldn't be responsible for what that device may do to someone else's dog. Try talking to your neighbor first.

The ones that spray citronella are better - kinder to the dog and the surprise stops them barking without traumatising them.

I've heard that they work for most dogs. But some dogs just dont care.

a sling shot is cheaper and works better. You don't have to hit the dog, just hit something near him so he knows you can hit him if you want to and yell quiet!
