in dogs, is it something done to a dog like neutering? jus curious

Worms are these icky little insects (hence the name worms...) that can kill your pet if they get in their heart. It is best to get pets vacinated to prevent this.

Dogs can get worms for a number of reasons; mainly fleas,

they are parasites. neutering has nothing to do with it.
