Unless your girlfriend is deliberately trying to dress to invoke attention from other men, I would say let her dress the way she wants to dress. Being her boyfriend doesn't give you the right to censor her wardrobe, unless she gets to censor yours, too. And believe me, some dudes need that bit of help much more than most women do.

Besides, no girl has any real control over how or when dudes look at her. If you have a real problem with it, take it up with the dude(s). Or are you afraid of a little male confrontation? I guess it's easier (and safer) for you to browbeat your girl into feeling as you do than to confront the lascivious dudes eyeballing your attractive girlfriend.

Hi,
I'm afraid that you might be a bit insecure and immature. You need to realize that your girlfriend is with you, not these other guys that are looking at her. If she wants to be with one of them she will, regardless of the way she dresses or the way it makes you feel. Apparently she has chosen to be with you, so my suggestion would be to accept it, and be proud of the way she looks (as long as things aren't hanging out of her top or bottom!) and reassure yourself by KNOWING that she is your girlfriend and she CHOSE to be with you and not anyone else! If you don't do this I'm afraid that she will get tired of your jealousy and leave you for one of the very guys you are jealous of! Believe me, I'm older and have 5 grown daughters (the youngest is 15 and a model) so I know what I'm talking about. I've had my share of lookers in my life and I've been witness to alot of lookers at my daughters. If you are jealous, suck it up and don't let anyone know, your relationship will grow because of it and chances are she will start to cover up on her own! Good Luck!

Guys looking at her validates her physical attractiveness.

Looking is normal. People check out other people all the time. It can be crass or unwelcome, but it is harmless and no threat if you don't let it be. (Hint: jealousy is a measure of your insecurity. Nothing else.)

Let 'em look. You're still the one (presumably) with hands-holding access and smooching rights and so forth, and they aren't.

I agree this is your problem...
I do not like to be told what to do, when I am in a relationship.
Especially to cover up, you do not like other men looking, grow up and get over you insecurities, you are just acting like a controlling boyfriend...

If other guys are looking at her, you should be proud, you know she's with you so ease up. If you start being smothering like this, I wouldn't be surprised if she gets ticked off and leaves your jealous butt in the dust.

You have no right to tell her what to wear. That is a sign of a controlling person and she should think twice about being with you. Back off.

None. She will dress how she wants to and you will either have to accept it or break up.
Just because a girl wears revealing clothes doesnt mean she is a slut.

The problem isn't her. It is you and your insecurities. You had better grow up a little bit. If you don't, your next kiss might be the last one.

there isn't one reason why she should just because you don't like other guys looking at her. that's YOUR issue. jealousy is not love, it's possessiveness.
