If it goes to the bathroom on the floor ,that's normal. To take care of the problem put down puppy pads and take it outside every 30min. or hour and if it goes to the bathroom give it a small treat and say good girl a few times and pet her every time she goes. If she likes to chew on things buy some puppy toy's and some small rawhides. If it does something bad look at it with a angery face and say bad lucy no no and a little tap on her butt when you say it. She will get the idea sometime and don't forget that a lot of love and understanding you give to her she will do just fine.
lucy

congrats! it is fun to own a puppy but they are a lot of work... okay first thing we made a mistake with was we switched foods on our puppy ... we found that it makes them sometimes sick so u have to take the one brand and keep adding a little more of the new food every day... also keep an eye on them they do chew... also if you don't have a crate or something for them to sleep in use a laundry basket until you get something.... they have small bladders so take them out and learn to train by if they pee in the house take a paper towel wipe it up and then put it outside and tell them this is where you go and make sure they smell it....
if u don't want them to go in certain rooms use baby gates or if u don't want to use a long piece of cardboard from a box or something... and before bed walk them around the yard or take them for a walk so they are worn out and have gone to the bathroom .. if you choose to sleep with your puppy you may want to wait till potty trained.... theres a lot to no but u can find websites and such online and tons of books at the library ... have fun they truly bring joy once you get the hard stuff over with... good luck!

make sure you get all the jabs form the vet and make sure you walk it every day if not twice a day they are very hyper and want to play so try and tire them out while on ther walk

becarful of other dogs as some can be very dangerous

get a book on puppies. A good start would be "puppies for dummies" No offense but its very good and explains a lot.

have her sleep in a box in your room for the first couple of days or weeks as long as it needs.and never give it milk that people drink, the worms come out.
