What would you say is the average turn-around time for a shop to frame a picture?

It depends on where you are getting the picture framed and how much you want to pay.

depends on the framer and the art. if the art is custom size and if the frame will be built custom for your art, that would take time. I would think more than a couple of days and I would be asking the framer what is the problem. Most framers will tell you time factors right away. My brother is a wood artist and framer a very good one, he always has the frames out in a couple of days no matter how custom it was. of course if it is a special wood, you might have to wait for its arrival. I would say a week to two weeks but each frame shop is different, so ask first. Also it is a case by case thing, If you want to pay more or tey will benice enough they might do it right there and then.

30 minutes. So it depends on how much work they have and if the frame you want is on stock how long you have to wait.
