I recently had a conversation with a very strong Christian. He was attempting to convert me.

And I finally did it :)

I convinced a Christian that I'm a hopeless case, and they should give up.

I feel special now; I've never convinced one to actually give up, before. Usually, I just ignore them until they go away, or threaten to kill them with eyeliner, or something. But none of them have ever given up on their OWN before.

I feel special.

Do you feel special?

I was blunt.

Not rude, but BLUNT!

Tehe.

I just argued against everything he said.

Eventually, I convinced him that every detail of my LIFE thus far has brought me to the conclusion of atheism. A few words of a well-meaning person won't make a difference.

Eventually, he became frustrated, told me I'm hopeless, and he gives up :)

I like people like Eds.

People that tell me what they feel is right for me, but don't push it. People that say it's my choice, and will respect me either way. :)

I need "special ed?"

Not that it's any of your business, but my education thus far was completed in advanced classes.

The last assessment I took, I received the best scores my counselor had ever seen.

Wow!!! sorry, i am glad you feel "special" :) you know, i have never convinced a person to become a christian... (i don't think) personally, i don't believe this is my job...to witmess now...is (to me) just to be a friend, and friendly..without all the pushing and shoving of religion. All this seems to do is make people upset, and mad, I never did like that route anyway...besides..i do not recall reading in the bible where any of the practices of Jesus did anything like that....so, i don't either... wish others would learn from this too..would make life easier on all of us. "Peace!" :)

You are special all right. I bet you are that kind of mean girl who cry alone and wonder why you are so messed up.

Hey I won't give up on you and i will pray for you constantly. If this person was as strong a Christian as you think he is then he would not give up on you. Why do you think you are a hopless case. Jesus does not thank that of you he loves you and wants you to come to him.

I will pray.

NON,
I am special. I am a Christian and I have the hope of eternal life in Heaven after I die. I hope that some day you will too but that is certainly your choice. Have a nice evening.
Thanks,
Eds

Why would you want someone to give up. I think I would just feel left out.

Wow... how did you do that? I could really use that technique on a couple Christians in my life. Nice work.

Edit: Being blunt was all it took? Maybe the ones I'm arguing with are more persistent than most, I've tried blunt before. it didn't work.

God's not done with you yet. That person may have appeared to have given up but prayers and Gods will, will be done. So now you can feel special :)
