It might not really shake the core beliefs of religious fundamentalist, after all God supposedly created the 'World' in 7 days so who knows what else he'd created in the process ... It wouldn't much of a stretch to say that the fundies would claim the aliens are all part of God's great design and it was and has always been part of his creation, although we are unaware of it ... yada yada yada ... No it's not gonna change anything, they'll have a quick, convenient, and ready answer for it. In fact if the aliens aren't Christians and have accepted JC already, they'll try to proselytize these aliens too... poor ET, he won't know what hit him! Soon we'll have ET's running all over the galaxy preaching the Bible...

God created it all ... in my humble opinion. Man needs a reality check. Christian Bible... God created the heavens and the earth. By implication that also should mean that if there is intelligent life on the other planets it too was created by God. Simple as that. Mans' interpretation of the "word of God" is the issue at stake.
I imagine that the religious fellows will have a huge problem with the concept that there are other intelligent forms of life elsewhere... similar, probably, to the evolutionary theories that are on the table now.

It will weaken many of the teachings and dogmas of all major religions. It will weaken control of religion and churches over most of humanity. Many people will turn to science and scientific knowledge for answers.
I believe there are other inhabited worlds in the universe and that we are not the only intelligent life. However, I sure hope we never find them otherwise we will be doing the same thing we have been doing in this planet for thousands of years: conquer, dominate, pillage, deplete resources, kill. I believe we were thrown in this puny Milky Way galaxy millions of light years away from everybody else so we won't spoil the rest of the universe.

I guess it could go either way. It might improve things to learn that We aren't alone in the universe, other beings could possibly help answer many questions people are seeking. On the other hand if any other intelligent life was found it would mean that we are not as special as we perceive ourselve as being, which could have a negative effect on religion.

None. The fact that god created intelligent beings in other parts of the universe wouldn't make the slightest difference in what He did here on this planet.

I do not know about world wide religions but I would be excited! My own personal beliefs are that the God/dess is not universal, but probably planetary. I would love to learn, if possible, about what sort of religious beliefs they have.

It would fantastic to learn of intelligent life out there. I didn't like thinking we're in this big universe alone. It would interesting to learn what their beliefs are, did they have revelations from God?

They'd (Christians) would probably want to ship a space shuttle full of bibles to them. Then threaten them with hellfire if they did not believe.

...absolutely none... God can do what He wants to do, wherever and whenever He chooses... It's up to "us" to follow His directions and live according to His Word... "Other" worlds are not our concern... "we" have enough to take care of right here...(that's why He made the Universe so vast...It won't inter fer with our little World).

It would probably take it's toll on some, but would probably help validate others.
