yes! if such a person even exists. Although some may not agree because they do not believe that any other god of any other religion exists. Those people are just ignorant in my opinion.

Yes. Allah is just another name for God. Each language has their own name, and Arabic is no different.

Keep in mind that Muslims are related to Jews and Christians. The Muslims split off from Abraham, of the Old Testament. They believe in the same God, and they know quite a bit of the Bible. The only thing they do not believe is that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. They do believe in Jesus, but that he was a great prophet.

No, and God is capitolized otherwise it isn't talking about the one true Christian god. Allah is the same idea as God but not at all the same being. On top of that, Allah is NOT made up just because you don't believe in him. Just so you know I'm not Muslim but I'm also open to the fact that everyone has the right to worship whoever the hell they want.

God is our Creator . He is the Beginning and End of everything .
Allah is the same. but He is called Allah in the east where His worshppers speak arabic. it is God in arabic.
Christians worship God , and follow His Words that came in the New Testament or the Bible.the Messenger of God is Jesus or Christ .
Moslems worship God that is called by arabic speaking people Allah. they follow His words that came in the Quran.
the Messenger of God is Prophet Mohamed whose message came about 580 years later than that of Christ.
the difference is due to the details given in the Quran that has been very carefully preserved so that nothing would be added or taken out from it .

Allah is the name in Arabic for the "One God". Allah is the Creator, Sustainer, Planner and Organizer. He is the only deity that has the right to be worshipped (i.e. praying, supplicating, fasting, etc.). In Islam, the belief in the One God cannot be separated from the acts of worshipping the One God. In other words, it is not enough to simply think you believe in the Oneness of the Creator but that belief must be affirmed by your statement and actions. Example, it would negate ones belief in the Oneness of the Creator if he directs his worship to a man (or any of the other created things).

Humans need a name to label for the creator and sustaining force of the Universe does Allah or God? Abraham had 2 sons Isaac and Ishmael. Ishmael was born 1st from his maid servant Haggar, Issac was borne by his wife Sarah. I understand Ismael's children become Muslims.

God of the Bible.
Allah of the Koran.

well it depends on which religion u compare "God" to...

Allah means God in Arabic.

BUT compared to any religion of the world NO.

we are told in first in THE BIBLE, THOU SHALT HAVE NO OTHER GODS BEFORE ME...no where did God say Jesus is ok to worship with Him...

2nd in the Torrah we are told again

last, in the Quraan we a told that none is worthy or worship except Allah...yet we seem to be the only religion who has listened. and this is what separates our God from everyone else. this is what makes our God ONE GOD as He has said since the begining of The Ten Commandments

EDIT: Carol F is right...Allah is not the God of the Holy Bible...that is my same point

those who worship Jesus, peace be upon him, worship him as equal with Allah. Allah didn't need the help of Jesus.pbuh. to make the Earth, the Heavens, and everything therein...so He doesn't need the help of worship with Jesus after Allah did all the work. In Islam...NONE is equal to or with Allah...as i said He has told mankind that since the very first commandment.

they are both suppose to be the god of abraham, but mohammad being the prophet of allah interprets the religion differently than the jewish/christian do with their version.

from there it gets real complicated depending on which side your talking to...

christians believe jesus is the son of god, muslims believe it is blasphemy to even say such a statement, although they recognize jesus as a great prophet.
