It will not be her decision. It will be yours. You have to be willing to take her back every single time. Some kids respond to a reward for staying in bed. Find out what works. Don't give up and don't give in. You have to make up your mind.

At 4, she should be outgrowing her nap. At night, put her in her room and refuse to let her out. Being 4 years old, it will take quite awhile to break the habit--a week or two. Put a gate at her door, a door knob cover, or even bribery might work at 4. If she's not napping, she should go to bed just fine.

Make her room her own. Let her pick the colors and the designs that make her feel happy. If she is excited about sleeping in her own room, she may want to stay there. And for you, stick to her bedtime, and if she continues to come into your bed, take her by the hand, do not say anything and continue to put her in her own bed. She'll get the message.

First try telling her that all of the big girls go to sleep in their own bed, and if that doesn't work, take away privaleges like, less tv time, etc....
Also, make sure that she has a night light and remind her that your bedroom is right down the hall if she gets too scared.

my parents gave me "allowance" for things I did right , like "sleep in my own bed"=25 cents, "making my bed"=10 cents, "clean up my toys"=10 cents, and stuff like that. I got like a dollar every month because I didn't really understand money math, and my mom kept up with the money anyway. pertty much, you just say that u will give her money and then show her a dollar, then keep it and eventually spend it on a toy or something. hope this helps.
