My mother is Baptist, my father is Protestant, I spent 12 years in Catholic school, my best high school friend was Muslim, my best friend at work is Jewish and I work for a company that was started by Mormans. I myself have no religion. I have no desire to be associated with any religion. It all seems so political to me. Instead I take from each religion what appeals to me. I believe that something bigger than myself created my. But no, I don't know his/her name. My grandma is upset that I don't call myself Baptist anymore, and that I raise my kids with "wordly" beliefs. Does anyone out there understand?

Its no wonder nothing " religious " appeals to you dear.. God didn't make man for anything religious. He made us all to be satisfied with a deep abiding relationship with Him. Nino is right.. don't bother to be a part of religion..be a part of the Body of Christ...even the Lord Jesus didn't go to the religious ones... He went to those that were open to Him and who had an ear to hear what he was saying. Today He has not changed. He presented Himself to us not as laws and ordinances and dogmas.. but simply as Life..
He said .. I am the Bread of Life
The Living Water... The Fountain of Life...
He is the Resurrection and the Life..
He is the Life Giving Spirit..
What else do we need but Him as Life to us!!! I Know religion didn't satisfy me.. and I can see why it won't satisfy you either:)

Jesus said in John 10:10b
...I have come that they might have life and that they might have it more abundantly"

Once you believe into Him as the Life Giving One and He puts His divine Life into you, you are part of His body and there you are receiving Him as Life to go on day by day.

Did you miss this ?

(1John 2:15-16-17) Do not love the world, nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him,

(1Jo 2:16) because all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

(1Jo 2:17) And the world passes away, and the lust of it, but he who does the will of God abides forever.

I used to think like you! However, I needed to decide if the Bible was truly the word of GOD or not. When I knew this to be the case, my spiritual journey led me to where I am now! I not only believe in GOD, by GOD is central in everything that I do and decisions that I make.

GOD bless
