thi highly depend on the cause of come.if it is trauma the prognosis will b low.but in else it wold b much better.....good luck

It really depends on each specific case and the damage that has been done. There is no point in calculating the percentage of all the patienst, because each one has received life support for a different reason. It is the reason (the specific damage) that the doctors evaluate. Besides, a big percentage of those who don't make it don't die of the damage they have, but because of posterior complications, such as infections from hospital bacteria. I hope whoever it is you are interested in gets well, and I also hope the same for a dear friend who is in a similar situation.

I don't know the percentage, but I know for a fact that it is absolutely possible to recover after being in a coma and on life support. It happened to someone very close to me in my family, and I have seen plenty of other cases at the hospital and in the rehab.
