There are many ways a person can select a name for a horse you can pick something out about there manners, color there father or mother. I have a horse that was always full of steam ready to go so I named him Steamer, it is pefect for him
How about : Lucky 7, say if he is a chestnut call him Red Ticket the list could be endless -- have fun with it.

I wanted to name my wife's last show-horse "Rickenbacker" after Eddie Rickenbacker, former WWI flying ace & Congressional Medal of Honor Recipient, and of Indy 500 fame (participant and eventually owner), and famous for some lesser things.
She picked "Grover" as both barn and show names. Yecch!
Rickenbacker was the most famous member of the Hat-in-the-Ring squadron.
