I have a 3 year old Rott. I have countless Kongs and she doens't like those unless I fill it with peanut butter (and then she has it clean out in a matter of minutes). She seems to love toys that she can rip to shreds (she can disintigrate a tennis ball in under 5 minutes)...those tug ropes only last a day or so until she has worked on them until they are just shreds of string. What can I do?

My mini poodle did that all the time. Stuffed toys and soft rubber toys got ripped to shreds, and rawhide bones lasted about 2 or 3 days. Try putting peanut butter in the Kong then freezing it; it will last longer that way. I would avoid rawhides, since she would probably eat those very quickly. (which is unhealthy and may give her diarrhea.) Or train her to retrieve toys and spend time playing fetch with her. Good luck!

okay, your dog obviously has lots of energy and strength. My Suggestion is to adopt another active dog that your dog really likes, keep the same toys though, that way your dogs will get the energy out of each other and won't use it to destroy toys. Or you could train her. Whenever she start hurting a toy, yelp, and praise her when she stops, keep yelping until she does. Whenever she is playing with it praise her continuously. She will learn that playing with it is better than destroy in it. But whatever you do, do not raise your voice. She probably will get even more scared and get worse

well go to the a store and buy her a HUGE teddy bear and wrap it up maybe even tape it up in your old clothes that you no longer need (jean material is an extra good!)and let her have her fun shes a Rott they LOVE to rip things up like that or get her some hides or something big kind of hard because it has to be sort of hard in order for her not to tear it super easily!
HOPE I HELPED
