First thing to get started is drink more water and eliminate the bad stuff. Try to cut down on food that is killing your body. If you can, try to eat more fish and eat lean meats. Eat healthy snacks like fruits and low fat yogurts. If you don't want to exercise everyday of the week, you don't have to. Exercise twice a week and move up slowly to 3-4 days a week. When you exercise, try to buy some Nike's for your feet. Remember, you can and will be healthy if you are willing to make some changes in your life. don't give up,,,,

So you want to be thinner but you're content to remain unhealthy? You need to realise that even if you do lose weight without exercising, you won't feel any better about yourself. Exercise doesn't just help the body, it helps the mind; you feel good after exercise, and it's that feeling that gets people hooked on it, not the physical benefits. If you're feeling low and fed up then that aint going to change just because you're a bit thinner. Trust me, I was in a similar mental state when I was 18, I joined a gym, within only 2 weeks I felt so much better about everything, I hadn't lost weight, but I was fitter and I felt it, and THAT is what exercise should be about.

I'm sorry to say that exercise is essential for weight loss. You can try these faddy diets, but you normally find that you will gain weight after you finish, and end up weighing more than you did in the first place. If you don't want to go to the gym or something like that, then go for a half an hour walk, or do something fun and buy a wii, you can really work up a sweat with one of those :-)

Every answer you have had so far has missed important questions. How heavy are you? What is your dress size? Have you seen your doctor?
It is alright people on here saying exercise however, they don't know your medical history. This should be decided by a health professional.
You should really have a chat with your doctor. They are the ones in the best position to give you the correct advice.

Take everything in moderation.
The less fat you intake is better, but you need fat so low amounts are ok, carbohydrates in small amount, protein is needed to repair your body so that is essential also, regular exercise for example walking each day (brisk pace). It doesn't need to be a chore, plan your diet and your exercise.
Make it fun.
Popcorn is low in fat but high in protein, try air popped with no salt or sugar.
Common sense will prevail.

Uphill running is the best. You burn more calories that way than an H2 Hummer. Pick a hill to rum around, run for about an hour a day. The first three months will be hell, but soon after you will find it to be a breeze.

i never do exercise, i don't like it and i have the right weigh just by being vegetarian.
and to detox and give us good mood and energy, i drink 4 carrots and one apple juice in the morning.
this juice is so practical, just require a good juicer, the taste is awsome, also you can try others vegs and fruits, eat wholemeal (brow rice) instead of white, that is useless and make us fat. Being vegetarian makes as young, health and naturally with the right weight.

HAHAHA - Get up off your sorry *** and do something about it then, you lardball. You don't want to excercise but you are worried about your weight? There are two options. Quick fix? Go to the surgeon and see what useless bits he can cut off. Tell him to start with your head . Otherwise stop consuming more than you can use. I am 55, drink too much, smoke too much and have been known to consume the odd morsel of illegal substances. I can still outpace and put guys 25-30 years younger than me to shame.

You have to accept yourself as you are and other people have to except you too. Do you think being thin is the only way to get on in life. Just eat healthily , not junk food, plenty of fruit and vegetables...
You young people are obsessed in this world of being thin and for what reason , it's beyond me.
You have to learn to love yourself as you are, remember that...
