It's all about learning to take things at face value and accepting that you can't control everything, have everything, or be everything.

Jealousy is usually a sign of insecurity and immaturity. I think you have to grow out of it. You have to have a relationship built on trust and know that your partner would never to something to hurt you. If you know that, you'll never be jealous. Good luck.

Quit being so possessive. Cherish what you have but realize it may (and probably will) disappear at some point. If you do not covet but rather accept what comes to you with humility and be generous, then jealousy disappears.

Jealousy is indeed a green-eyed monster. Time to free yourself of this beast.

Well you sound like you are on the right track because you are the one who wants to stop jealousy. First in order to do that you must say "It is not about me so why is it effecting me so much"?
Have you heard of the term friendly? I know I am very friendly and my partner would get very upset about it. He would throw himself into a rage. I finally told him if you care at all about me you have to trust I won't do anything to hurt you. Know when I am nice to someone its because I am happy and secure with who I am, so I like people and love to talk. Its my second favorite thing to do. I don' want to have sex with them I just like to chat. When they leave I don't give it a second thought.

Remember also assuming things and taking things personally causes drama in your life. Don't assume anything and certainly don't assume its all about you.

Good luck! I suggested a book that will help also...
