I once read some experts said milk is only for babies, whether animal or human and is a food, was never meant to be a drink. There are other drinks like fresh vegetable or fruit juices, sparkling or still water. Hope mom isnt just lazy to just open a carton for years.......

no, my friend drank only milk until she was about 15 and started to watch her weight (she used to drink only full fat milk which has loads of calories per drink). She has very strong bones as a result and I would imagine wouldnt get ostielperosis when she ages as she has had so much milk which is good for your bones.
As long as you are not overweight, you really have no reason to worry, I doubt its anything to do with your mother not weening you early enough as a child, its just cos you have a taste for dairy which millions and millions of people also share- otherwise there would be no such thing as yogurt, cream or cheese.

Well you are not missing out on anything. I never drink fizzy drinks except as a mixer in a voddy. I give my son water in his lunch goin to school, not being mean its just better for him. he gets milk there also. Fizzy drinks are bad for the teeth and are fattening. Stick with your milk. Better for you.

You're healthy and active. Your health is better than 99% of teenagers today.
You really do need to try US milk, though. The cartoned stuff just doesn't compare with fresh, cold, organic milk.

Everyone I knew that grew up on milk (including me) had a full beard by 16. I have no idea where I was going with that, but milk is very healthy for you, and it's great for your bones!

No, you're not weird but there are lots of other healthy and beneficial beverages out there. Try and stay away from the carbonated ones if possible especially the ones laced with caffeine!

Milk is a good source of a lot of things that are good for you and will not fill you up with sugars and all of the stuff they put in fizz.
