Blood test/TB test?

I'm going to need to take a blood test at the hospital that checks for TB, because I'm going to start volunteering. The thing is, is that I smoke pot occasionally...How long before the test do I need to stop smoking, or do I even need to worry about it showing up? Can they tell if you've been smoking if they're looking for TB?

it's highly unusual to test for drugs of abuse via a blood test. the urine test is the standard testing method. as for the blood test for TB, i think you may be mistaken. it's usually administered as a skin test, whereby a small amount of the testing material is injected with a tiny needle just under the skin, and the presence of a skin reaction indicates exposure to TB.

first off what are going to volunteer for? Why are you doing drugs in the first place? If you are volunteering as a mentor for kids I'd think again you won't be a good role model. Stop smoking pot today but that won't effect the results of your bloopd test.

3 weeks... that answers your question simply, now they have to run a specific test to test for drugs. but if your vonlunterring in a hospital or something like that they might just test you for pot or other drugs, b/c alot of hospitals do that. so to answer your question and be safe you need to wait 3 weeks for a blood drug test, if they do hair then you should wait 3 weeks and cut it fairly short right before they test! good luck and way to go for vlunterring!

it takes exactly 1 week for pot to exit your system. if you want to get rid of it quicker drink a lot of water and it gets it out of your system faster, ive drank lots of water a few days before a drug test and it was out of my system in like 3 days. but hope this helps
