If you are saved now and asked God to forgive you, then He forgets them and they are as far as the east is from the west. If you sin in the future you have to repent and ask God to forgive you, and turn from that sin and continue to go forward , and not look back.

Many people make the mistake of believing that God forgives “little” sins such as lying, anger, and impure thoughts, but does not forgive “big” sins such as murder and adultery. This is not true. There is no sin too big that God cannot forgive it. When Jesus died on the cross, He died to pay the penalty for all of the sins of the entire world (1 John 2:2). When a person places his faith in Jesus Christ for salvation, all of his sins are forgiven. That includes past, present, and future, big or small. Jesus died to pay the penalty for all of our sins, and once they are forgiven, they are all forgiven (Colossians 1:14; Acts 10:43).

The saved have eternal security, but the assurance that a person is actually in that category is proportional to the degree to which they behave as a child of God should.

We are "born again into the Kingdom of God....but, we may still do a sin here or there as we are trying to grow in Jesus to be more like Him...so, God made provision for this because of the fact that Christ rose from the dead as a "living sacrifice" giving power to His blood..eternal blood to forgive sins and trespasses of anything we may committ in our future lives in Him while on our journey to being "Christ Like" Just like in the old..they did sins, we are not "perfect yet" either...this is why in 1John;1:9 we, as christians are given this. And, there are many other scriptures that pertain to this in our bibles also....so, if you happen to "blow it" just ask the Lord to forgive you and continue on in your walk with Him as you grow in Christ Jesus... "Peace! :)

Forgiven means the destruction of sin, not the notion of being sorry and hoping you don't sin as much as before. It seems as though many interpret "saved" as a free lunch pass, but saved is by understanding Christ thoroughly, and then sin, sickness, evil, death,... disappear from consciousness.

in theory yes. however if you are close to God you should want to ask for forgiveness ( not like salvation, but forgiveness) and help in correcting the sin in your life.

No you must seek forgiveness each time you sin and repent. There is NO once saved always saved in the bible. Being saved means you work on your salvation daily.

"As the Bible says, I am already saved (Rom. 8:24, Eph. 2:5–8), but I’m also being saved (1 Cor. 1:8, 2 Cor. 2:15, Phil. 2:12), and I have the hope that I will be saved (Rom. 5:9–10, 1 Cor. 3:12–15). Like the apostle Paul I am working out my salvation in fear and trembling (Phil. 2:12), with hopeful confidence in the promises of Christ (Rom. 5:2, 2 Tim. 2:11–13)."

It is the complete opposite. Since, you are saved you should not practice sin continuosly. We are humans and we make mistakes, but the flesh can never please God. If you practice premeditate/ a slave to certains sins, then maybe your not really saved, and all is in vain.
