im gonna do it myslef since my mom is taking for ever in taking me to go get it done. seceretly i know she dosnt want me to get it done thats why she is prcrasinating but whatever now im gonna do it myslef and she said go for but she dosnt think i will.

I would highly recommend that you don't do it yourself, if you do, your lip will become highly infected, which will cause more problems. Just wait until your mom takes you.

First of all I would not do it yourself because you will be open to so many infections and you could permanently damage your lip. But this is how you do it, First you clean the lip with alcohol and you hold a piece of ice to the spot where you want to pierce your lip to make it numb. Than take a clean sanitized sewing needle and stick it through your lip from the inside out, while still holding the ice ( Caution: may still hurt ). Next take a sanitized earring that you want and put it in your lip as fast as you can after making a hole. Make sure its pure metal nothing fake or else an infection will occur. Leave the earring in for at least 1 month and clean it everyday with alcohol. Than you will be free to change them out. If you have any problems consult a Doctor or a professional piercer.

Obviously it's better to get it done professionally, but its your choice. I did mine myself. I don't think it hurt that badly, like some people said.
I just used a straight lip ring, with a ball on each end instead of a flat back. Get it sterilized, because rubbing alcohol will only clean it. It won't prevent AIDS or hepatitis.
Find where you want it to go, and push (from the outside). The first pop won't be so painful, but the inside skin is sort of stretchy, and is harder to get through. I paused between the two.
Just shove through the inside skin. It'll hurt a bit more, but will be over in a second.
Then screw the ball back on, and boom. You're done.
Make sure you do it as straight as you can, so your hole isn't angled, making it harder to take in and out.

Nick, highly advice against it, IT HURTS LIKE HECK, I threw up like 4 times from the pain, and almost got it infected, after I did it I regret it soooo much, I would never never do it again. I did exactly what I was told, to numb it with ice, the ice burns at first and that's painful too, and everything else that follows is horror.

don't leave yourself with a scar, go to a professional or best of all listen to your mum and don't get it done, i can guarantee when you are older you will not like it and will hate the scar that will look like a constant spot underneath your lip, i am not saying i am against piercing but most people who do it when they are young regret it, maybe you should leave it for a few years and decide when you are a bit older if you would still like it

This is definitely NOT something you should do on your own. You risk infection, for one thing. You also risk injury, since you're not trained in doing piercings. My advice would be to not do it, PERIOD-- by yourself or with a trained professional. But since you most likely will anyway, I'd say you should not even attempt to do it on your own.

this is NOT something you should do yourself. there's a huge risk of infection as the human mouth is one of the most bacteria laden areas ever. if you're young, your mom has good reason to not want you to do this. you'd be wise to listen to her. again, i stress, don't do this yourself.

Don't do it yourself there are veins that your don't know about in there that you don't want to hit. Then there is infection and many other things. Just relax and wait for your mom.

BIG MISTAKE to do that yourself....infections ....you need a professional ...just keep at her until she gives in or says no
