Yesterday I cooked a pasta dish with shrimp, & I didn't discover until halfway through eating it that it was half-cooked. All I knew is that it tasted & smelled weird. & then it dawned on me that the shrimp wasn't cooked thoroughly. & then I put it in the fridge & figured if I re-cook it & cook it longer today, it might be better. Or would it be worse? I hope I don't get any bacterial sickness or worms or anything.

Don't re-cook it and eat it. I don't think you will be sick - I hope you are not. Shrimp not cooked thoroughly (if it is good shrimp) will not make you ill. If it smelled weird and did not taste good, then maybe the shrimp were not good because not cooking it enough would not cause that to happen. If it has already been out of the fridge though and cooked I would not try cooking it again if it smelled bad. Just throw it out (it is not wasting it as you are NOT wasting good food).

Half cooked fresh shrimp is not a health issue Smelled wierd is not a result of partial cooking.Just go little by little in the nuker till its done stir it between nukings.

I think you'll be okay. If you feel sick or have a fever, get checked by a doctor imedeatly... You never know. Don't put the shrimp back in the fridge and recook it. Just throw it away, better safe then sorry.

You would be ill by now if you were going to be.
As long as they had turned pink they should be OK, but if you say they smell weird, I would question the freshness of them.
