I've been seeing my bf for 3months now,he has now hit me with the news that he has a chance to work on a cruise ship for a year,he has to decide in 10days,he said he doesnt know what to do,i dont want to lose him,he once told me a story about his mate who didnt tell the woman he loved that he loved her,i dont know whether he's waiting for me to say it-then might stay,i'm scared incase it doesnt make any difference,i once had a bf who told me a similar thing and ended up cheating on me,what should i do?

Nothing. Just roll with whatever comes your way. If he decides to ship out than bon voyage. If he stays than hang in for awhile. Your not married dont feel pressuried,your a free agent. Cultivate some other options while you wait. Don`t chase em. Replace em.

Let him go. Really he is the one that has the delema to decide of which he wants to do. The Cruise ship is hard work but I know the excitment will be there for him too. He will get homesick as it won't be full of fun and games like he thinks it will be. I have talked to a few that have done this and although they love their job, they look forward to calling home and getting back. If he goes, get some calling cards as a gift. They get a certain amount of shore time to call home. If he comes back, then it was meant to be and if not, then there are other men that aren't fish in the sea!

I think that you should tell him how you feel. Tell him, "I think it would be a great opportunity and that you would miss him and that you can continue the relationship when he's home." As for telling him how you feel, that's really not necessary. When two people love each other, it's really not needed to be said. you just know. Best of luck to you.

if this something he wants than u cannot stand in his way of his happiness even if u do say i love u. he need to let him go, in the en d u dont want him to resent u .

just show him how much you care for him, make his day, go out of your way to do something nice for him. only you know exactly what to do but dont hang about waiting to do it!
