Chandrasekar has said aptly-every aspect of sri Krishna is Madhuram.sri.Krishna is "all pervasive Para Brahmam"-so I need not perform any elaborate penace to attain Mukthi-I can fall at his feet any time("Charanam Vrja").So I love Him.

Out of 10 Avatars of Vishnu, trhe 2 avatars that are very popular are Rama and Krishna. Rama's character is simple and straight forward. There are no much complexities and every one can understand easily. But if one attempts to behave like Rama I am afraid one may not find it that easy.
Next is Krishna. It is difficult to understand his character and personality. But every one finds it closer to him. He maintained adequate proportion of adventure, mischief, romance, crookedness, intelligence, affection, Love, devotion and what not. Children like his mischiefs and adventure. Youngsters enjoy his romance. Elders like his management skills. Politicians like his crookedness. Wise men like his affection and philosophy.
Majority of the people find Krishna more nearer to them than Rama. That is why everyone likes him. Ramas character appears more idealistic to be read and enjoyed rather than practised.
