I have been coming here for some time and I have come to like a number of the people who come here but there is one person in particular who has caught my attention.
I seem to be developing a crush on her.
Is that being silly?

That is not a confession that's an announcement.

Well if you have never met the person you could not have a crush on that person. You have a crush on the image of that person that you have built up in your mind. I'm not saying that the image you have developed in entirely wrong, it may in fact be largely correct. I'm just saying that it is incomplete at best and possibly also wrong.

Cheer up Jenae ... I'll stalk you if you are reeeealy feeling left out ;-) BTW, out of your funk yet from the other day?

A crush is strange if its just an online person that you know, depends on if you have been communicating outside of YA or not. You can really get to know someone from alot of emails, but you never really know someone unless you spend time with them...for real.

Silly? Perhaps. Immoral or wrong in any way? No. There is nothing wrong with fantasizing. If that's all you're guilty of your ethical system is stronger than most. Now, of course a christian might try to ding you on breaking one of their sacred commandments, but that is just plain silly as most sane people understand. Dream on...

It's being human.
You seem intelligent enough to know what the likely problems are with meeting people online.
Give it a month and see where you are then.

I know of many online meetings that have turned into a true love affair. It is not silly.

That's cool that you like someone on here. I like certain people on here too. Although I haven't developed crushes on anyone, good luck with that.

Well, that last clue let me know it's definitly not me.
