We don't know the things going on in other people's lives, and a friendly, sincere smile may make a positive difference. My philosophy..."do the best you can with what you have"....and "leave the world a better place than you found it."

Through my church I became a Stephen's Minister. I have a special clientele of the families of men and women in long-term prison.
I believe, as Stephen did that the families need more help than the person in prison.
It has been a rewarding experience for me and my family. I continue to pray for the strength to continue my ministry when and where I can.

volunteering my time makes me feel like I am doing a difference.... we are in such a speed motivated life and usually 24 hrs in a day is never enough.
so when I take a few hours to spend wth one in need at a shelter or a park makes me feel i am doing a difference in their life. cause all they want is for time to actually go by faster...and we that have it all dont have the time.

I participate in The Pencil Project

Giving a child a pencil (who doesn't have one) symbolizes hope for their education.

Fulfill a need. Even if it's just to have someone to talk to, a shoulder to lean on.
