I have been with this guy for 7 months and we are expecting a child in May. We always spend time together , but we don't live together.About a week ago we get into a huge argument over something stupid and now he says we need to slow down things a bit. You know like how many days a week we see each other and that we both need time for ourselves which I totally agree on that one.But he is like before we move in together or get married I need to make sure that im making the right choice and that we won't kill each other. Number one I never said anything about wanting to live together even though I would love it ,and I never said nothing about marriage..he hasn't ever been married to where I have.Do you think that he is getting scared by his feelings and he is now fighting them or do you think that is his easy way of pulling away a bit ? The strange thing is NOTHING has changed , I still see him daily and he still kisses me and everything ~ totally confusing

Cold feet. He was disturbed by the argument and tried to limit the damage potential. Since he mentioned making sure you won't kill each other before marriage, I'd say he's thinking of popping the question.
I gotta ask though, you are expecting a child, but have no plans to marry, or even cohabitate? Seems kind of cold to me. Do you love him, or was he just a sperm donor?

well, he is prolly scared cuz you two are kinda being forced into this cuz of the baby, and maybe he doesnt want this, or maybe he imagined things to be differently. give him space to see if this is really what he wants or if he wants to live moire. just let him be him
