I threw away the box for my contacts, and I'm on the last pair... I think the brand name was Acuvue, and they were 1month contacts. I'm going to go get an eye exam today, and I plan to buy contacts online... but all I'm finding for Acuvue are the ones that last 2-weeks! grr

My contacts are Acuvue2 by Johnson & Johnson. You can get then on line or on the phone thru 1800 Contacts. I'm not sure if any of the packages actually recommends wearing them for a month, but its possible. My the way, you will need to know your prescription to get them online, and the prescription is printed on the box.

30 Day Contacts Brands

I use Focus Night and Day. Each set lasts for a month and you can sleep in them without hurting your eye. I take them out about once a week to clean them then I put them right back in. It's nice because you have one last thing to worry about every morning when you're getting ready for work. I used to wear Acuvue and I dreaded putting my contacts back in every morning. I don't go through 1-800-contacts so I don't know how much they charge. I go straight through my eye doc and they are $285.00 for a 6 month supply. If you are going to order from 1-800-contacts though you do need to see your eye doctor for an exam first even if you have already had your annual exam this year. I think Focus Night and Day contacts have a different prescription or something b/c for some reason they require a different type of exam. However, the brand is common and all doctors offices will carry them and offer the eye exam for them.

If you are going to sleep in your contacts MAKE SURE you get Focus Night and Day brand though. To my knowledge it is the only brand made for sleeping in. If you sleep in regular contacts you will damage your eyes in the long run. I knew a woman that had been sleeping in her contacts and when she went in to get her eye check-up the eye doctor could tell right away after looking at her under the microscope and asked her about it. The clear sac around your eye actually will start to wrinkle and wear down. Don't let something like contacts cause you more trouble then it's worth.

I wear Focus Night and Day. I can leave them in my eyes for 30 days. I do take them out about once a week to give my eyes a rest.

I have very sensitive eyes and these work great for me! Seek the advice of your eye doctor and find out which ones are best for you.

Also...I found this website for a free trial. Hope this helps.
