as a tiler, the only tile adhesive that would work is a 2 part fully flexible adhesive , either BAL FAST FLEX or nicobond fast flex ... both quite expensive but you need to prime the face of the board to be fixed down

you could in theory tile to this surface then...

however you dont need this as you are using vinal sheet... so movemet is not a problem "you just want to stick it to the floor". so just fix the ply with cheep silocone

Surly if its Asphalt floor you should be screeding rather than installing plywood. You install ply wood on wood floors to even the area and you use screed (concrete mix) to flatten /even a concrete or tiled floor. Therefore, unless the underfloor is wood you should be using screed.

RE:"I would need 6 bags to reach a 6mm Height applied in two applications"

I have found that 6mm screed is over estimated. You can get the same results with 4mm. I would not use Ply as you will most definitely spend more time and more money fixing problems as the ply moves over time, causing the vinyl to bubble. Use screed, You'll
get the best results, Its so easy to apply, its a case of applying the screed (read the back of the screed sack for the ratio of screed to water), spread it evenly with a trowl and let it find its own level.

Good luck.

Unibond adhesive is brilliant for this job. I have done the same thing myself over 3 years ago and recently had to remove it due to alterations in the room and it was absolute hell to pull it back up. It took two of us both using large nail bars. So I can tell you it will work!

I'm in the US, so I don't know what your building code requires. You should consult with a professional builder or architect.
