Sure, it's not like he's at school showing all his friends that he has pink under pants on or anything. And honestly if you fight against it because they are pink then you are going to end up with one of two circumstances. First he will want them even more because your being unhappy by their color evokes a reaction... which kids just love. The other possibility is that it could be the seed to shame issues that believe me isn't any fun.

I would be concerned that he is still wearing pull-ups at night more then he wants pink pullups. Most 6 year old are not still wetting the bed. Have you talked to his doctor about the fact he is still wetting the bed? He may have a bladder infection or some other medical cause. Is this something new? The bed wetting?
I say let him wear the pink if that is what he wants to wear.

Ugh, for people to even SUGGEST that a small boy liking pink is a sign of gender disorder is ridiculous.

Do you really think all boys are born to like blue and girls are all born to like pink? You really think thats natural in our brains? OF COURSE NOT! Society has made those colors specific to each gender.. not our genetics. Him liking pink has NOTHING to do with what gender he wants to be or what gender he prefers.. to suggest so is ridiculous.

Personally.. i think its fine if he wears them. But really.. im YOU feel more comfortable with him being the "norm"- go out and buy him so blue pullups with little characters on them or something.. but GEESH they are pullups.. its not a lacy dress or something.

The colour isn't an issue, where the absorbent bit is may be a problem. On girls' pullups it's much lower down than for boys - he may have a problem with leaking.

i wouldnt not because of the color but the way the absorb. the blue for boys absorbs at the front where the boys parts are and the pink absorb more towards the middle underside where the girls part is they may leak and make a mess

He's 6; not 16. Now is the time that your influence over him will me most felt, although not seen.

Put him in blue, tell him pink is for girls and so he can't wear it. Leave it at that. Just stick with it, regardless of the whining. Eventually, he will stop needing to wear them (my 8-year-old still wears them to bed too. We found blue ones that are shaped like boxer shorts b/c even the race cars are becoming
"old hat" for him.)

ps. Obviously if you were "ok" with it, you wouldn't have asked the question here!

totally fine! Just because he likes pink doesnt mean he will grow up to be gay. Lots of little boys like pink. Let him wear them.

why is he wearing pullups if he's 6 yrs old? shouldnt he be fully potty trained? Unless he has a medical condition, I dont think he should be in pullups at all.

Ok, all of you stop, right now. Its fine is a boy wheres pink or if he wers a dress, just remind him that thouse kinds of things are for girls, whatever he's comforable in is fine, although i would start buying him things that arent pink
