Don't use Adobe's reader
Try Foxit Reader (http://www.foxitsoftware.com/pdf/rd_intro.php)
It's free and not bloated like Adobe's reader

Erm, download the READER from www.adobe.com and then AGREE to the terms on isntall, if you din't agree it won't install
If it don't install you can't use it.

Don't want to agree to the Adobe terms try FOXIT reader, does same job, but without being an Adobe product, and it's F R E E

You should download it from the official site and agree with the terms of the contract while installing.
