TO ANSWER QUESTION an alcoholic is defined by one we admitted we were powerless over alcohol and our lives have become unmanageable the inability to stop after one drink the need to have a drink in the morning to strait in up one drink leading in to another drunk if this sounds like you and only you can diced if you are a alcoholic get help go to AA or other support group good luck

My health teacher in high school said you can drink once a year and still be an alcoholic....Alcoholic is when you don't know when to stop...That you have to keep drinking and drinking until you pass out or something. That's one form of alcoholism...the other is if you drink everyday, even if it's just a little.

An individual who relies on alcohol in order to drown emotions that prevent them from completing their days. Or better yet, just anyone who consumes a large amount of alcohol daily in an addictive manner similar to a cigarette addiction.

Uuuh well if you've got to ask you probably are an alcoholic, like most addiction you may not realize what has or is doing to you and your life or so called life, get the help you need.

I will just tell you how I honestly feel - I will say that it's when alcohol has taken over someones life and affected their work, their relationships, their overall life, and their health. (and still they keep drinking)
