Kasey will do this weekend.....1st fastest in 1st and happy hour practices and 3rd fastest in the 2nd practice...hes obviiusly got a good car this week and hes starting 4th tomorrow....

debbie c....im not an idiot! i know practice and quals mean nothing! and i dont like kasey because hes "cute" i could care less about what he looks like! hes a great racer adn knows how to get it done! and hes having a bead year so what it doenst mean he cant race!

Actually what they do in practice does mean something, if he is doing well in practice then he must have the right set up and shouldn't have anything to worry about. If Kasey stays out of trouble and drives like the good driver he is, he will do well this weekend, and i hope he does!!!!! He is way overdue for a WIN!!!!

I've got him picked to get a top 5. If they stay on top of changes during the race they could even contend for the win. Atlanta is a good track for Kasey.

I'm really surprised he has had such a poor year. He's due, and it wouldn't surprise me if this is the track. He's run well in the past here and seems to have a solid car. As long as he doesn't fall victim to car troubles or get tangled up in something I would expect a top 10 and possibly be challenging for a win.

Last time he did this it was at bristol where he finsihed 2nd, id say with kasey being good on tracks such at atlanta and running the highline hes going to do pretty well if he avoids trouble, and his engine dosnt blow.

Looking at his past records and how his car seemed to be doing during practice and qualifying, I think he's got a very good shot at winning. I've got him at the top of my top 3 list for this weekend.

Hopefully he will blow an engine. Too many people only want the "cute" boys to run. How you qualify and practice don't mean nothing BOTTOM LINE IS THE RACE not all the qualifying or fastest in practice. it's the RACE itself. The late, great Dale Earnhardt said "qualifying and practice ain't nothing, till you hit the track and that's when you prove what you can do."
