If it's sprained, it will continue to get betr in a course of a few days...

If it's fractured, the puppy will apply some pressure, but mainly just keep it off the ground.

If it's broken, when any pressure is applied, the puppy will wail =(
You could test by putting your finger on the hurt place...

DONT HURT IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

you could just take it to a vet....

P.S. Hope the puppy get better!!!

Sorry, we've not got a magic crystal ball to verify the leg, nor have been we there on the time (as a fly on the wall to observe) in spite of your description. devoid of an x-ray and actual examination, no one can inform you what style of injury (if any) the canine has. If he has a broken bone & it heals incorrectly he will in all probability limp & be in soreness constantly greater. whether that's a hairline fracture, it may get greater severe with weight on it. whether that's a sprain (comparable.) He could start to desire the harm leg and start to go otherwise than he could desire to (to compensate) & this could advance into ordinary and throw different factors (joint muscle tissue, ligaments out of alignment). this could impact his backbone, hips, circulation, decrease his actual be attentive to-how, reason long term soreness, muscle cramps, and so on. that's technically canine ABUSE if this canine desires veterinary care & that's DENIED. Your mothers and fathers could desire to be charged with canine abuse (and you may desire to all be denied extra puppy possession) if it quite is often shown they with held veterinary scientific care, esp in relation to a broken leg. waiting could make the issue worse, yet there is not any real time-physique. The canine could desire to be seen by utilising a vet, as quickly as plausible for the final consequence. canine variety as to how stoic they are and many contain harm a great way worse than they permit on - and of path in time, they simply could desire to attempt & stay with it, yet that would not propose the soreness would not exist.

If your puppy yelps when putting pressure on it or doesn't use that leg when walking, then its probably broken,if its sprained then he might try to walk on it not putting much pressure on the foot Check to see if there is any swelling, compare it to the other leg.If you think its broken then call your vet, puppies bones are fragile because they aren't done growing yet. I hope your puppy is OK.
