Ok, then why in all of my sources is Bangor referred to as a university CITY (population: 14,000) in Gwynedd, North Wales? And it has a cathedral, so apparently it must be a city. Villages don't usually have cathedrals.

Bangor is NOT a city.

The nearest city is the ecclesiastrial city of St. Asaph, the second smallest city in the UK, about forty minutes drive from the National Park
