I tried many different types of frosting for my cookies, but they always turn out creamy. I am looking for a recipe that will be like whipped and tasty. Any suggestions?

go to Wilton.com and find a decorator icing recipe. Sorry - my recipe is about 3 hours away from me.... it's basically powdered sugar, butter and/or shortening. vanilla, and a couple of other things. You can make it as stiff or as soft as you want it. You can also add a touch of flavorings and make it even better. It colors wonderfully, too.
