You didn't explain how it would be possible to kill for your god . If you kill someone , how does god benefit ? How do you know that you're killing for god ? Do you know the needs of god , or the desires of god ?
The only connection people have with their gods is through their imagination . Anyone can imagine anything . That's the reason for so many different ideas of who is god , what is god , where is god , what does god want , you are free to imagine anything. Your imagination is as good as , or as bad as anyone else's .

Yes, there will be 7 types of people shaded onthe day of judgement. One type is the matyr and another is one who loved just for the sake of God. You are only allowed to kill in the name of God, you can not kill in anger or it is a sin and you can only kill one who oppresses you.

God would never ask me to kill. Love and to follow His will is all He truly asks. That I would do.

I don't believe that God would condone in any way the killing of anyone for Him!! They will face their own judgement before Him!!

this is why the crusades made no sense to me when i studied them. people were so gullible in thinking that they would go to heaven if they killed innocent people just to get the holy land back from the poor beguiled heathen that were inhabiting it.
i agree with the answer that if god wants me to kill someone because of that, i don't want to be worshiping him. i think it's humans who interpret his wants wrong.
