does anybody think that they are doing a good job with the illegal immigrants? i mean in 20 years thats probably going to be running america. we had one just caught here in illinois that was illegal, got caught coming into america 5 times now and was wanted for robbery and murder.. i mean come on. i think they are doing a crappy job of containing them..maybe im just over reacting...breathe!!!

You are not over reacting. Our Government is doing an excellent job of doing absolutely NOTHING. Is it any wonder that the Reid Pelosi congress have the lowest rating of all time?
In December of 2005 the Republican controlled House passed HR 4437 known as the enforcement only bill. This was not good enough for the Democrat controlled senate because it did not include amnesty for millions. Now almost two years later, the ,now Democrat controlled ,House and Senate have still done nothing but try to force amnesty down our throats. A zogby poll at the time indicated that Americans favored the enforcement only bill by a margin of 2 to 1. So much for will of the people. It is the will of Dianne Feinstein, Harry Reid, Barbara Boxer, Ted Kennedy, and all of the other traitorous democrats that matter. These people are so arrogant as to say because we did not pass their amnesty it was in fact defacto amnesty. In other words they as much said, we will continue not to enforce the law.
The Dems are now trying to pass their amnesty a piece at a time. The most recent attempt was Durbins nitemare act. You know the one where he said it was for little kids that wanted to go to college but in reality was massive amnesty for millions without any enforcement. The bill had so many loopholes, purposefully, that you could have flown a 747 through it.
Recent attempts at putting an end to sanctuary cities and to stop rewarding illegals for dropping anchors here have failed to pass this Congress.
The message is clear. This Congress does not want to stop illegal immigration. Actions speak louder than words and their actions say it is their intent to REWARD illegal immigration.

No, your not overreacting! We have a problem and now is the time to start with Congress and get them to enforce our laws before ANY immigration bills are passed, especially an amnesty!
It has come to light that the california wildfires were started by ILLEGAL ALIENS after one of them tried to bash in a border patrol agents head in with a rock! This was on Fox news and on the GlennBeck tv program on cnn!
Call your members of congress now! Every state has different numbers for your congressional representatives! Get involved now before it's too late! Spread the word and join the rest os patriotic America and stand up for what is right and NO MORE DREAM ACTS!
Under thdream act, anyone could have applied for amnesty even if convicted or suspected of a felony, including murder and homicide!
The only 2 candidates for president in 2008 taking the issue of ILLEGAL ALIENS and the loss of our soveriegn nation seriously are Tom Tancredo and Ron Paul!

I think the problem is the arrests that are being made aren't putting a dent in the numbers when they are still pouring over the border everyday. Until the border is secure the arrests are a drop in the bucket compared to the numbers which are here (estimates as high as 38 million). I suggest you vote for someone who you know is going to secure the border. Tancredo or Hunter. Giving amnesty to 38 million criminals is not the answer. That is like rewarding bad behavior and what kind of president does that set in any future decision regarding illegal immigrants. Since law enforcement can't actively seek out illegal immigrants they can only seek to deport them when they are arrested for other crimes. I know it seems ridiculous when by the very nature they are here is in fact a criminal act. Get loud, get active, contact your congressmen/women and vote for someone who will do something about this.

There's a reason behind this. America likes anything thats cheap, I mean they get toys from China with lead as long as its cheap. Labor is included in this, they got so many people working cheap labor, because they have no other choice they're here illegally, they're not supposed to be here, so they get their wish by working for minimum wage or less and the companys or whatever don't have to pay that much for the labor and they save money, its all about money.

You are not over reacting. Think about it. If we earn a dollar we pay tax on earning it. If we spend a dollar we get taxed for spending it. If we save a dollar we get taxed on the interest. It says to me that we have taxation with no representation in Washington, is it time for a new Boston Tea Party? Now they want us to use our taxes to support illegal aliens that hate our guts. Where does it end? It will have to end with the American people refusing to be taken advantage of by government or illegals anymore.

If you see the news, look at the cities and states that are passing laws against them, and look at the numbers that are here now, you can see that they are not doing ANY job when it comes to stopping illegal immigration.
I think come election time, they are going to really find out about how much the citizens of this nation are demanding that something be done or they won't have a job.

Dont be afraid, they wont take over. But if you watched the news authorities have managed to drop the rate of illegal immigrants coming to the US by 46% in the last two years

Actually, I think a lot of Americans are just starting to become aware of what a problem this has actually become. The government is NOT dealing with the problem well at all. I think we citizens are going to have to continue to call our politicians out on this one.
The local governments that try to do anything get villainized in the mainstream press. Just look at the press Prince William County Virginia is getting because they are restricting illegal immigrants from free drug rehab programs and adult daycare programs and because they are allowing police to check the status of everyone arrested. They've actually called this a "hate" crime in one major newspaper. Imagine that.

If you seriously think that our government is trying to do something about correcting illegal immigration, please, think again. *Cities and towns will not do anything about it, as they say it's the county/states job; county and states refuse to do anything because it's a national issue. National won't do anything, because they want the votes. Now.. do you think the illegals can not vote? HA! CA is giving them a state ID, etc, and everyone is following suite. No one wants to offend any illegal person here, because we need diversity.
We do need diversity, but we need those that come here legally.
This country will be theirs in a few years. Then what.
If you all want this country back, take it back! Is everyone here is this country so full of self, and spineless.
