I have a Toshiba 36" HD TV but it doesn't have an HDMI connection. Model # is 36HFX73.

If I can, do you know what part I need to look for?
Thanks.

That TV has a DVI connection. This is the video parts of the HDMI cable.

You can buy DVI->HDMI adapters or cables. This is what I use on my system.

But you wont get sound through this cable. You will also need to run L/R audio from your source to the TV or L/R, Coaxial, Optical to a AV Receiver to get sound.

You can get HDMI to DVI cables from BlueJeans.

Technically, yes. In reality, no. The cost (parts and labor) to do this are more than just buyng another TV with HDMI already on it. Massive change to the circuitry.

There is not way to add hardware to your TV, this is a stupid question.

You bought a crappy TV, return it and get a better one, HDMI is standard for HD now and days.

My 4 year old crt projection hdtv even has HDMI.
