why dont women laugh ... guys take life easy :) women are too serious all the time.

Went to see a play a couple of months ago called Defending The Caveman. Here it was explained that men still act as the gatherers in relationships and women as the nurturer. That guys do not communicate with other men the same manner as women either. Women won't see each other for many months or years and will sit down and talk openly and look into each others eyes and speak openly. Men on the other hand will greet someone they haven't seen in a long time with lines such as "you still driving that piece of crap". Both are saying nice to see you and missed you but in different ways. As for gross things it is part of the upbringing of males to laugh and show their bravado to these types of things. Interesting question though.

As a man, I sometimes wonder about that myself. Back and I was younger certain gross things appeared funny mainly because it was unusual and abrupt! Now a days I think, man! Why was that so funny? That's sick.....although, as i discovered in my generation....men aren't the only ones humored by grossness....even if not advertised..there are Girls that love it just as much...Like my friend Cassie...though more mature now....between flatulents and making dinsaur toys do naughty things at the age of 7 while laughing hysterically...i'll admit...it was a first for me (I was 10 and didn't know girls could have those kind of minds)......but i didn't exactly second the emotion...thats for sure....long story short...i don't think it's a genderal issue than it is a frame of mind and influence...

HThink about it...when very young, children think passing gas and such things are funny. haven't you heard the phrase, "men are just little boys in big bodies."? That saying came from somewhere. I've found it to be true. Remember, though, how cute little boys are and,rather than being annoyed by their choice of humor, try to enjoy the little boy within the man and let it go. Enjoy the cute little boy within them .

Im a woman and I laugh at gross things. But not snot rockets, those are still gross but funny if they land on the person that attempted to do it

Because such things tend to be funny.
Seriously... things gross can be (a) amusing or (b) vomit-inducing. Puking being not much fun at all, laughing is the swifter response.
(It's less funny when we have to clean it up, but still somewhat funny.)

Because that's our nature. Just like we can't understand why women take so long to do their makeup, or are pissy for no reason, or don't like spiders.
