No, don't try those chemicals on your skin. Windex has ammonia in it, which can really irritate the skin. The first thing you need to do is to keep a healthy diet. Eat fruits, veggies, drink water, and all of the other stuff. The other thing is to wash your face daily and regularly. Soap and water will work, Neutrogena Acne wash works and contrary to popular belief, Proactive works. I suggest using an soft acne wash.

No, but you'll be able to see through it really clear.
Seriously, you want to get rid of acne for good? Change your diet. No more junk foods, no sodas-the number one cause of osteoporosis in women and men, stop eating as much red meats and pork and eggs as possible. Eat more fresh vegetables, more fresh fruits for snacks and desserts. Drink organic fruit juices when possible. Drink 6 to 8 bottles of pure water every day and walk. Walk at least two miles every day after school or work and work your way up to five miles. This will clear up your skin in 30 days or less, give your body a more toned, young, healthy look. Give you more stamina, more energy, more mental acuity and more all-around vitality than almost everyone around you. Do this forever. In the meantime (if you can afford it) get an aloe vera plant. (you can grow it indoors or weather permitting outdoors, it needs heat to grow great). Cut off a piece of a leaf. Wash your face with a good all-natural herbal soap and after rinsing by hand, pat your face dry (rubbing causes scarring). Peel back the leaf and apply the gel every night before bed to the afflicted areas and leave on all night. Wash with the herbal soap in the morning. Do this for the 30 days I told you about already. At the end of that time your skin should be looking young, vibrant and healthy looking. As I said before do this forever and when you are well-past middle age like I am, your friends will be begging you to tell them your anti-aging secrets. You will not regret it, unless you don't begin.

Your face is not a piece of glass, so why the heck would you use Windex on it? That's just asking for trouble.

If you are really desperate to get your acne to go away, talk to a dermatologist. They will help you a lot.

Medicine I would personally suggest is Accutane. It works for everyone. I call it the miracle medicine.

Wouldn't that probably burn if you have an open pore on your skin? I think so. Please do not try it.
Featuring that you have had acne for about 5 yrs now you should have seen a dermatologist.
If you have not already please see one! Or ask your regular doctor but still you really need to get this taken care of.

A good tip for in the summer or if you live in a place where the weather is nice..lay out in the sun! That will dry them out.

Good luck!

BTW If that windex gets in your eyes you could go blind.

Thats a new one on me. Never heard of using windex.. but some window cleaners have white vinegar in them, maybe that is why.
I have used rubbing alcohol all my life and have had little problems with acne. It tends to dry up the oils in your pours, it may sting a little at first until you get used to it, just use a cotton ball and isopropel rubbing alcohol and it should do that trick. And another bit of advice.. Don't use soap on your face. it can cause you to break out, use warm water and a clean wash rag. and then cool water. then use the rubbing alcohol if changing from using soap to just using a clean wash rag doesn't help.

Don't use Windex! It contains ammonia, which will irritate the skin and probably make your acne worse over time. Also, if you get any in your eyes you will REALLY be sorry. Try consulting a dermatologist instead....
