Hey there, please this question is for everyone but particularly for people who specialise/know something about nutrition. , I understand that there are certain minerals in food that get denatured by heat, i.e through cooking. I am on a diet, and want to know if toasting bread reduces/destroys it's starch content so that instead of eating bread plain white, I can get it burnt in the toaster, and then have like a jam spread over it.

No. It reduces the water content.

Sorry NO, just the moisture content and a few nutrients. You don't lose calories cooking meat or veggies and bread is just flour, oils, etc.
