We are going to a wedding today where the couple is already living together. They don't have a gift registry and I don't know what to get them since they have already set up household together. Any suggestions?

Absence of a registry often indicates the couple is hoping for cash.. so unless you have a really great idea for a gift, give them money. They might be putting it toward their honeymoon or a large purchase.

I like to give a gift of dinner and a movie. get a nice bottle of wine (or a couple 40's if they don't drink wine!) and put it in a nice basket with a gift card to a restaurant they like or someplace they've never tried, and some movie gift certificates or Blockbuster card. If they have kids maybe you can put a coupon for your babysitting services for their date night.
