My experience has been that you can't beat mother nature. Prepared foods are usually filled with unpronounceable chemicals for preservatives and so forth. Go with the banana and alternate with apple, blueberries, and so forth. Mix in some Cheerios for carbs, too. Don't worry about the calories... 100 is nothing. You burn around 2000 just living and breathing. Besides, burning 100 calories takes more like a half hour.

30 mins of fast walking should be sufficient to burn about 100 calories. Eat the banana, more potassium and other minerals in the fruit than the cereal bar. You could alternate it though so you don't get burned out on one or the other.

First diets are bad. Bananas are better but you need to know why and know how to choose between many choices of food. Site below explains exactly why and how fruit is the best food to eat. Eat foods made by nature and avoid foods made by man which are designed to make you fat and very addicted to food.

Under exercise it explains why walking does not help to lose weight. YES, you do burn calories walking, but you also burn calories watching TV or sleeping.

bananas as well as being a good source of potassium, are definately better as cereal bars are packed with sugar so you wont be filled up for as long and will more than likely face sugar cravings soon after.

banana's are all natural, cereal bars are not. you should never question whether or not a food item that is all natural is healthy or not. the only all natural foods that are not healthy are the ones that "you" are allergic to.
