Who here thinks that Christianity is a form of facisism (sorry about the spelling)... and why??

I'm a Muslim and no Christianity is not a form of fascism. Maybe a few followers might do evil things but it doesn't mean that Christianity is the cause.

Christianity as a personal path does not have to be; most Christians in real life (if not on Y!A) are not fascists.

Christianity as an institution (seperate from good individuals or even from the presumed founder) has been a remarkably adept tool to be used for nasty purposes, although thankfully we have not seen too much of that in recent times.

Nothing to do with each other. Many facists may claim to be Christian but couldn't be farther from the truth. Don't be fooled by fake Christians. They obviously know little about what it means to be a real Christian.

No - those who use it to discriminate, yes.

For instance, hating gays - that is discriminate.

True Christians do not discriminate.
